The wool shed, Angus Scotland

Owned by: Betty

Shed of the year 2010 has been announced

Shedtype: [Cabin/Summerhouse]

Features: Instead of demolishing an ancient portacabin we renovated it by cladding with reclaimed metal sheets. It worked and the cabin is now weather proof and very cosy. I use it as a workshop for my spinning and knitting and also as a store for the sheep's fleeces I work with. I love my shed and spend a lot of time there.

Additional Info: I love this site and its great to know there are lots more 'sheddies' out there.

This shed has been viewed 4715 times.

I have just converted half of my old slate roofed garage into mwht I thought was a Hobby shed but I am going to call it my Rugshed as I plan to carry on making rugs in there(too much mess in the house) I have a stove and a new work bench posh stuff!

I adore your shed and may model mine on it in homage.Do you live in the thing behind it or is it a spacecraft?

Brilliant idea! I like it very much but it must be very noisy when it rains or hails. Is the next door building a Nissen Hut?

Splendid, where did you get the portakabin? My sister lives in Angus - her shed is not as fine but it will soon be appearing on the website so you can jdge yopurself.
