Shed Features

In the beginning I needed an extra shed to house my bikes, I looked at several ready made sheds which although the prices were good the quality was not, so I decided to build one to my own design. The original concept was of all wood construction but due to the fact that I obtained free bricks and concrete blocks etc. it ended up being part brick and part wood and totally over engineered. All the timber frame has had several coats of creosote and tanalised wood has been used on all the outside cladding and roof which has then additionally been treated with a water based preservative. The inside has been lined with polystyrene blocks, which in conjunction with the black creosoted frame give a very realistic mock tudor effect. Hopefully it will last for years.
