My shed is special because I saved my money for over a year to build it. Having no shed building experience, I was fortunate to have a friend who is a building contractor who was willing to help me in the off-season.
It took three months to build this shed.--One entire week of 8 hours days of labor where I learned how to hit my thumb with a hammer and frustrate my friend and then eleven 8- hour weekends where I learned to curse under my breath and carry a tool belt.
After that, it took from March through September to paint my baby. Eventually, I added rock stairs, a potting bench, two shelves, a stool and a stained glass window.
This shed was a dream made into reality.
The shed is composed of pine 2 x 4 studs, plywood, long-leaf pine siding, recycled windows and a used door.
