Shed of the year 2010 has been announced

Shedtype: [Pub Shed]

Features: The Idea of this project was to build a shed pub entirley from scratch for as little as possible. Everything was either donated, bought at a discounted price or aquired someother way ( legally of course). The total cost of the project was somewhere between ?300 - 400 pounds. including all internal decorations. I did the entire build myself except for plastering the internal walls and laying the felt roof. What I now have is an excellent place to chill out and relax, read a book and listen to some music courtesy of the "Bartop Juke box". The kids love playing darts on a sunday afternoon while drinking their shandy and I've even taken the wife out for drink and she doesn't have to drive home.

Dear sir, an absolute credit to the pub shed trade. Decor outstanding, just how a pub should be. Simple but authentic. Very homely and comfortable. Must be great on a cold winters night enjoying a pint by the fire. Sheeeeeeeeeer claaasss!

This is an amazing pub/shed and exactly what I'm after building in my own garden. If you have any plans or guidelines to follow I'd really appreciate it as this will be my first project. Good work pal.

This is the coolest bar I've ever seen. Would you be able to send me a floor plan? I would love to get a better view of the layout. This pub reminds me of the Prancing Pony Inn from Lord of the Rings! Love it.

What a splendid idea! This is how pubs started in the first place. Now everything has become corporatised and institutionalised. Thank God someone is prepared to get back to what it was all about in the first place - somewhere the community could meet, drink and commune! Do you allow smoking?
