The Disco Shed

The discoshed is no more long live the Disco Shed mkII

"One of the star's of this year's Latitude Festival according to shedworker Nikki Spencer was the Disco Shed." Shedworking

As featured on BBC3, ITV, Channel 4 and on BBC 6Music, the Disco Shed is an 8 x 6ft Billy O garden shed which has been lovingly mounted on an old Sprite caravan base, and converted into a fully functional road worthy DJ / VJ cum booth garden party, which we tow to various music festivals.

Transforming the concept of what a DJ booth can, and in the name of fun, should be, inside, you'll find all the usual stuff you might find in a shed, hanging baskets, gnomes, pirelli calendars, tools, combined with classic disco related decor, disco lights, disco balls, the world-famous* Disco Shed Inferno smoke machine and a full DJ set-up.

Proper, sometimes even famous DJs, and the Disco Shed crew perform DJ sets, whilst outside people party with the disco gnomes and marvel at the unique construction and the live video mixing being projected onto the roof mounted screen.

Helping bringing shedism and shedonism to the masses, kitschly pummelling festivals with its party soundsystem, from the bigger (Reading) to the middler (Big Chill, Latitude) to the tiddler (Festinho, Truck). The shed's collection of gnomes are blooming excited about being on Reader's Sheds. They've never been online before, you see.

"And then there was the Disco Shed. It will be a thing of legend, I'm sure: one shed, two blokes, mixing decks and a glittery disco ball. There were plant pots and garden gnomes, all on a little hill where countless people danced well into the night. It was truly magical how good that little shed and the music emanating from it made everyone feel. www.godisinthetvzine.co.uk

* Not even slightly world-famous

Yes! We are available for bookings, weddings, birthdays, bah mitzvahs etc, both with or without the shed (sorry for the plug!). We also keep the Disco Shed vibe alive when not at festivals by throwing parties all over London and elsewhere.
