[Workshop]
Features: A small green shed that was there when I moved into the house, to be honest it was one of the reasons we picked the house. It's appears to be a self built shed with a timber frame and a combination of tongue and grove and shiplap planking. The previous owner had partially changed it to an office. I am slowly converting it into a workshop.Has a novel clear plastic roof which means that it has great light for working but is vulnerable to changes in temperature. The neighbours bush grows over the workshop in the summer providing much wanted shade. There are built in cupboards down one side and two metal shelving units bolted to one wall. I've added some hooks to the walls and in the cupboards. First change was to add the path and extended the slabs in front of the workshop so there is room to work outside. Added power and made workbench in 2008. It now has a lantern with a sensor so that you can see to get in at night. Reclad the side, added cupboard, shelf and another storage drawer in 2009. A family of bumble bees appears to live underneath the floor, spiders occupy a hole in the door and birds seem to like the creeping vine on the roof. Cats, squirrels and foxes also visit.
Additional Info: Hopefully will also be replacing the roof before long, ventilation and insulation are also key issues. Construction:Wood Roof:Corrugated plastic Base:Concrete Age:At least 8 years old 2.9m wide x 3m long x 2.5m high in the middle. Colour: Forest Green

The "poster" is a drill speed chart telling me what speed to use with different sizes/types of drill and different material. I mostly keep the drill on the slowest of the three gears unless drilling plastics when I crank it to the top gearing.

Plastic sheeting down the side has been replaced with wooden tongue and groove cladding. Some history from a neighbour. Previous owner but one liked painting things green so he's responsible for the colour of the shed and fence. The owner before that was an artist and used the shed as his artist studio.

I've discovered that the main part of the shed is 9mm shiplap with the front and door area feather board. I believe that there were origionally windows down one side, that's now covered with some very old plastic which I hope to replace with more boarding.

I lifted up some boards last night and got down to the concrete base that this shed is built on, I can now measure up for a new cupboard to fit under the bench

The bird table handing on the front has been moved further from the people and closer to the bushes so the birds can eat in peace. That and I kept walking into it and knocking all the seeds off
