My shed is a printmaking studio where I make beautiful art. It contains a rare 1850's Columbian printing press which weighs around 2 tons. It is south facing and full of light. It overlooks the vegetable patch which is handy for watching the seedlings growing and popping out to pick raspberries in summer.
My shed is bespoke, built to my design and constructed by local Devon farmer Basil Colville Hyde. Its walls are Douglas Fir lapboard and it is fully lined inside. My nephew and neighbour helped me get it up and my father in law helped me roof it. In order to get the printing press inside we had to remove one side wall.
