It is made from 80% reycled materials from the locality, it has a double reflex curved roof, with 2 dormer windows and a belvedere for ventilation and wind vane. Mainly from timber, but with a block base one one side and at the rear, suspended wood floor, concrete floor for the kiln. It houses a fully working pottery with an oil fired kiln. It features a veranda for those summer evening beers. Own rain water supply.
It was constructed around the turn of the century, at weekends and evenings. Taking nearly 2 years to finish. Roof jigsawed from 10' floor joists, pinned at the top with 2 steel rods. No outside help apart from painting by my wife!
