Shed of the year 2010 has been announced

Shedtype: [Unique]

Features: I built this shed almost entirely with materials that were being thrown away. My personal goal was to build a shed that looked like it had always been in the garden of my 1890s house, and use it to store all those bits of period ironmongery I had acquired over the years.

Additional Info: I have no building experience whatsoever, so crammed the theory from old reference books bought on eBay, deciding that if I could build a course of bricks each evening after work then it shouldn't take a lifetime to complete!

This shed has been viewed 1065 times.

Full marks. An excellent, inspiring shed. Thanx for sharing it with us. Bet you wish it were bigger though.

I like your philosophy - a course a day is fantastic. I have failed to get motivated to start my brick shed so far, but maybe this evening I shall start to dig the foundations... Incidentally, how deep are they?
