Shed of the year 2010 has been announced

Shedtype: [Garden Office]

Features: It's an office and a shed in one (well in two kind of). Based on the £25,000 ecospace garden studio, completed on a budget of about £2500 - although I reckon you could build one for a grand (hence the "One Grand" bit).

Additional Info: I'm working on plans to enable anybody to build one of these. Built using a Kingspan/plywood sandwich design allowing superior thermal efficiency whilst keeping it dead easy to build.

You can follow the exploits of this sheddie's build here.

I want one of these Dom. Are you going to publish the plans?
by Chris Mills on 21/05/2010 from 87.113.---.---

Great, eco conscious shed, Dom. You've got my vote. Charlie had kept that one quiet as Patrick didn't know anything about it.
by Mike McGrath on 21/05/2010 from 90.201.---.---

your blog was hilarious! and we loved the whole concept of building for one grand. You have inspired me to think I could do that, and have given me good ideas on how to build. Who needs 25k for beautiful clean lines and space? thanks!
by lara on 09/11/2009 from 86.149.---.---

Fantastic shed. Please let me know when you get the plans sorted.
