Features: The result of a complete makeover (and labor of love) by my husband in 2006, The Potter's Shed was a delapidated garage (1920s) with a dirt floor and primitive wooden frame.
Due to the beautiful custom woodwork, masonry, and other design and detail, The Potter's Shed quickly became more than a place to pot plants (it's original intention). It soon morphed into a small shop for my Organic Herbal business. The Potter's Shed is a delightful, aromatic adventure for shoppers, house guests, and friends to enjoy.
Our brick shed includes French Doors salvaged from a used brick yard and multi-paned windows that are accented on the outside with stone slabs and a step-up stone porch. The inside boasts an antique double sink dropped into a custom galvenzied steel countertop with barnwood frame with storage shelves beneath and chicken wire doors; a monstrous custom barnwood stepback cupboard (designed and built by moi); two beautiful hanging chandeliers for wimsy; beautiful brick floor and custom pine, beadboard ceiling.
The Potter's Shed now graces our backyard gardens as a focal point, to and from which, there is a winding concrete & brick path to tour our various gardens.
