Shed of the year 2010 has been announced

Shedtype: [Garden Office]

Features: It really blends in with the garden on the outside, but in the inside it is home from home. The outer shell is made up with Superior Grade 28mm Fin. Interlocking Logs - specially designed 4-way chamfered notch-joint system ensuring a tight fit to all boards with no room for damp or wind penetration. The shed includes all insulation,electrics, plasterboarded, decorated, heating, carpeting, 2 vents - in at the bottom and out at the top. The outside is very secure indeed...All windows and doors are tripleglazed with double glazed toughened glass, then unbreakable polycarbonate with lower breather tape. Also, there are 3 locking systems, two alarms, sensor lighting and CCTV. There is television, phone and internet connections. The roof has shingle roof tiles.

Additional Info: There is a good roof overhang all round and draft seals fitted to all doors and seals to windows to protect from the elements. Flooring - Heavy duty 19mm T&G, 30mm celotex insulation, 18mm T&G Floorboards, supported by Tannalised ground bearers on prepared concrete base. The overall size is 14' x 10'.

Brilliant idea with the two levels of ventilation as heat rises. Also, the security measures make it like fort knox without it showing too much! Well done.

Like the way you have focussed on security with the poly, locks, alarms, cctv etc. Can be pretty important nowadays!
