    Shed Features

Meerkat manor was built in August 2009, It measures 7m x 3.6 m. The great thing about it is, Im only 10 seconds from the pub, the prices are very cheap and service is second to none. The name comes from one particular weekend away in Torquay where I had a bit to much to drink and apparently just sat upright in a corner like a Meerkat.

Features are: - 26" Flat Screen TV - Sky & terrestrial TV - WIFI - Surround sound supported by online jukebox Spotify - CD, MP3, Radio - External speakers in roof overhang - Bar includes under counter Beer & Wine fridges also extra fridge for those hot summer party nights - Heating for all year round use - Disco lighting - Sofa and bistro table & chairs - Well stocked bar including snacks - Beer garden with pond feature - Microwave just added (free) - Charity box for the Dancing Eye Syndrome Society (nearly every one that comes in donates, raised over £100 since opening)

    Other Shed info

A friend was dismantling his old wooden and glass conservatory and asked me if I wanted to salvage anything so I took up the offer. I took 4 large glass double glazed panels you can see on the picturesand what ever else I needed. I originally had a small 3m x 3m summer house which was dismantled and used. The entire build except for the roof was from salvaged free materials, the flooring is second hand laminate, the internal cladding and shelves are old large pallet collars recycled, one set of doors came out of a skip the other were from the original summer house, all the internal furniture was either given to me or bought cheap on EBay. I am very proud of Meerkat Manor and have had and will have some great nights with my family and friends, I also find it a great place to just chill out in. We watched all of the 2010 world cup in Meerkat Manor and had a great time even though England were crap.
