Shed of the year 2010 has been announced

Shedtype: [Pub Shed]

Features: My pubshed was built in April 2010 out of a 12 x 8, with a view to watching England march on to glory in the world cup (oh dear! guess i'll have to wait till the euro's now then!).I am trying to achieve a 'sports bar' look, and I have the bar, pumps (still awaiting cooler so we can have draught beers on tap), bar mirrors, 4 optics, under bar fridge/freezer, lcd tv on the wall with sky sports etc for the football/boxing/darts/f1. It has wi- fi, and the laptop is connected to an amp and speakers with spotify supplying the music jukebox. Other features include a holsten pils pressed bottle clock on the wall. Also over a hundred branded glasses, beer mats and bar runners etc plus loads more genuine pub memorabilia, posters, lights etc. Ice blue fairy lights around the bar. I serve icy cold cans and bottled beers, red/white wine and on the optics we have bombay saphire, vodka, jack daniels and Gordon's! All the electrical work was carried out by my brother in law/great mate who is a qualified sparky (lucky for me!) and everything else I have done myself. The reaction when people first walk through the door is superb "oh my god...it's like a real boozer!" that alone is worth all the hard work! *Finished the outside paint job now, see new pic's* still loads of work to do yet, and I will keep uploading the pic's as it happens!

Additional Info: Myself and my new wife have already had many great nights with friends & family in the 3 lions, and I very often have the lad's round on a sat or sunday afternoon watching the footy on sky and sampling a few cold one's, whilst enjoying the 'pub' atmosphere. In my opinion there is nothing better than getting the boy's round for the match and havin a few sharp ones in the 3 lions without having to leave the confines of my own back garden. priceless! Very much a work in progress at this stage, but hopefully the idea's I have for our shed over the coming months will be worthy of a vote or two. Cheer's for looking, Jamie.

The 3 Lions Pub-Shed has a warm and friendly atmosphere where i certainly enjoy having a few vodka and cokes on a nice sunny afternoon with my husband and our 3 year old daughter, who enjoys asking for 'juice' at the bar. I am very proud of you Jamie, you have worked so hard to build your own little pub, it really is a credit to you. Noone goes home disappointed!love you lots x x x
by Claire on 01/08/2010 from 86.171.---.---

Dart board done,(see new pics!) Now for the outside paint job! Any ideas on best paint to use greatly appreciated? Cheers for the comment's so far guy's and girl's.
by Jamie, 3 lion's landlord! on 30/07/2010 from 86.171.---.---

I'm a regular in the 3 Lions and I haven't paid for a drink yet! so there's a sign of a top notch pub straight away. On a serious note though it takes some beating to be chilling out in the 3 lions on a sunny day with an icy cowd Carling in hand, the footie on the box and the tunes pumping out of the sound system while the kids can play out in the large 'beer garden'. Top notch pub all round and a friendly landlord who drinks more than his customers!
by Andy on 26/07/2010 from 84.19..---.---

Hi Jamie, thanks for you comments about my pubshed, yours looks great too. Check out our website (there's a link to the guy who painted our sign if you're looking for one! Helen at the three chickens, www.thethreechickens.com

The three lions is the surburban equal to the garden of eden with the taj mahal in it. It's creator is a god in any religion. Having drank there recently it really is a great venue, beautiful setting, all the facilities you need and most importantly plenty of boozing options. See you there again soon.
by Martin on 25/07/2010 from 78.149.---.---

Well done Jamie, you've done a great job. Ive been looking forward to seeing photos of the 3 Lions pub-shed. Thanks for the vote its much appreciated. Where did you get the licence sign with your name on it? Your right the best thing about having your own pub-shed is that u can have a great night with your mates and not even have to leave your garden :) cheers drop me an email if your on facebook coz ive got a group for the 3 steps and ill send u an invite.
