This shed is as old as old and probably had a large family raised in it. These were scattered all threw the bush in the Wollongong area. I can rember visiting similar sheds forty years ago and the people who lived in them were very friendly and would share all they had with a young child. They were the lost generation of the times but they were good people. I found this shed in the bush today and have passed it on many occasions and not seen it before.It bought back good memories which I am grateful for.
Built in the 1880s as can be seen by the tram lines of the days. The cladding is stamped weather board sheeting which I have never seen before.
