Leaded Light Windows. Part summerhouse/part greenhouse
This summerhouse started off when my wife rescued the leaded light windows and doors from a skip which we kept for some years in our old shed. Eventually I bit the bullet and started to plan and build the summerhouse around the windows and doors. I thought it would take about 6 months but it eventually took me 2 years!! I think the planning took longer than the building and it took a lot of timber to complete. When I first went to the timber yard I knew nothing about building and found the help from the guys there invaluable. The table is made from discarded rafter offcuts that were also destined for a skip locally. I used a handsaw for all but the roof timbers when I borrowed a chop saw. Couldn't have done it without my cordless drill :)
