A Summerhouse retreat, inspired by stays in beach-huts around the Cornwall coast. The theme is coastal / beach-hut, with love hearts, too. Insulated walls, a cuddle seat, retro-style electric heater, CD player, scented candles and reminders of favourite places make this a perfect relaxing hideaway after a long day.
Painted using Cuprinol Garden Shades, inside and out. A permanent electricity supply along with the 25mm insulation under the 4mm ply within the wall cavity mean that this retreat is used around the year. Drift wood collected at Millhook, near Bude, is used to form the wall light feature. For a perfect evening, we choose a favourite CD, light a few candles and enjoy a glass of wine.
