Everyone loves their own shed. Who wins, you decide.
The Crooked Arms is a bespoke built 12ft by 11ft shed with double doors and three windows. Set in a corner of my back garden it took approxiamately 2 years to build, much to the annoyance of my now happy regulars, following an inspiring trip to Brugge. Having sampled many fine beers the shed was born.
The shed now specs fully insulated/lined walls, full electrics, insulated and laminated/tiled floor, bespoke fully tiled bar and spacious beer garden.
It also features the following;
LED Wi-Fi TV with Sky+HD/Freeview. MP3/Ipod/Iphone docking station. Wi- Fi. Full size pub fridge. Fully tiled bar area. Oak Flooring. Heater/Fan. Dart Board with laser Oche. Original pub furniture. Neon/Illuminated signs. Blackout Blinds. Optics. Array of pub memorabilia including mirrors, clocks, signs and plaques.
As of 2013 the updates include a fully insulated ceiling completely covered in beer mats, LED underbar lights, laser effect lights, and even more signs.
The pub officially opened on 11th June '12 for the France v England Euro 2012 opener.
Regulars have quickly adopted their own favourite seats and customs and attend the regular in-promptu gatherings testing even the strongest recycling bins.
It has comfortably accomodated 11 revellers to date and currently resides as the only pub in the village. Quiz nights followed by the obligatory drinking are now a Bank Holiday favourite.
