Solar Panels on the roof generate the power that runs the irrigation for the garden as well as the night lights.
Translucent polycarbonate strips were cut to fit into the wood siding. The polycarbonate filtered sunlight illuminates interior from all four sides without sacrificing security.
The shed was built for students at Occidental College who cultivate an edible garden which they use to provide food for shared feasts.
