It is fully insulated so it is usable all year round. Painted white inside and stained with preservative outside. Windows fitted with black louvre blinds and fully laminated floors.
As the site is a sloping one it was necessary to put in a level concrete base which took 6 tons of pre- mixed concrete. The shed arrived as individual planks which took a long time to sort out, before we could even start the build. The actual construction of the studio took about a week with the help of two friends. The longest bit was installing the roof shingles and the internal planked flooring.
