    Shed Features

Welcome to Bar 34 , This is our Bar that I built with some winnings in 2011. Its an ongoing project that's now cost in excess of £2750.00 ! It measures 14 x 8 and is supplied by 20amp armoured cable from my house. It has 12 double sockets and believe me it needs them ! Firstly its a very Hi-Tech shed pub / disco sports bar. We are huge sports fans and there are 2 Identical Panasonic 26 inch Lcd Tv's fitted in either corner opposite the bar. One is fed by Sky Tv from my house and channels can be changed from inside the bar. The other TV is fed by a Spiderbox 9000HD Satellite system that has 34 satellites scanned in and over 10,000 channels ! Having this enables me to watch ANY televised football match at any time. Sometimes dual matches on both TV's Both the TV's audio are fed into my Samsung 5.1 surround amp that is situated under the bar giving me full control. Also fed into one TV is a Playstation 3 that's situated above the bar and out of view, the other TV features a Homebrew Nintendo Wii with a hard drive packed with games. (both consoles can be played at the same time) On top of that both the games consoles are hard wired via Ethernet cable to the Bar's own Wi-Fi Linksys router enabling online gaming !! There is also a dvd player that can be viewed on both screens too. Bar 34 also has its own computer running Windows 7 Ultimate and this is has a huge ITunes library of 80GB and growing. This too is wired into the Samsung 5.1 surround amp. This computer is all hidden away under the bar with just the 19 inch lcd wireless keyboard and mouse on view. Everywhere in the bar is packed full of Disco lighting and includes 3 UV strip lights , Low level bar lighting , a six pod split led sound sensitive unit, a disco spinner light , an eighties style disco ball, an led revolving mirror ball, exterior and interior led lighting, a transformer powered unit for the pump head lighting, main lights and an illuminated Jack Daniels chrome clock. My favourite piece of lighting equipment installed is the low level laser stage unit that's fixed on the revolving mirrorball. This looks absolutely fantastic when the remote controlled smoke/fogger machine is deployed. There is also an ice machine , real bar fridge and mini freezer, digital photo frame and its crammed full of all the usual bar nik naks , optics , mirrors and props. There's also 4 high pub stools and 4 table chairs along with an authentic pub table. A chrome backlit electric fan fire with mantelpiece displaying all my father in laws old trophies is installed for those cold nights and its perfect. Theres books & pub games galore and many a good night has been had in Bar 34 and hopefully many more.
