Traditional log cabin construction with featuring large curved window looking over small lake situated in a wood. and I have now filled it with unusual objects. It has electric and running spring water and a log burning stove.
I sent for a copy of a book that's in the Congregational Library in America called "How to build a log cabin". stacking log on one another seems a very unstably method of construction but I was amazed how substantial it became. I was caught out how many logs I needed and some were a little short but I got around that by making the log cabin eight sided and one side a window which I got out of a skip and did not reduce its structural strength.
