Perky's Retreat

More than £500

We want to have a relaxing space in the garden where we could relax on hot summers day but also use during the winter with lots of light. We entertain at home most weekends with friends and family so a Garden Bar seemed the ideal choice. Everything in the log cabin was created by hand (except for the fridge). I added LED colour changing lights below the bar, an LED Pub sign and bar stools. We even created a bed settee as the kids needed new mattresses so rather than through the old away, I created a base and back that folds down to create an overnight solution when friends stay for the weekend. I also created wide decking steps so they can also be used as a seating area along with flower box to finish it nicely. We then also added artificial grass outside.

The Log cabin has very large windows which is excellent for making the cabin so light, thick 44mm boards and we have 70mm insulation in the ceiling and floor, we had an electrician install the lights and plugs for us just to make sure it was safe!
