Our lovely shed has a very unassuming exterior (it looks like an actual shed, infact it is an actual shed, bought from Shed World) and sits in an ordinary Edwardian Sheffield back yard. A passer by would never imagine the delights it holds inside its interior.
Our shed was bought as a normal 6' by 8' shed. It had been in the planning for many years, and once erected we employed a brilliant local carpenter called Pete to insulate it, so it is cosy in the winter, panel and build the bar. He also made the picture in our heads a reality by cutting out the bar shutter on one side, meaning that in the summer we can serve out on to the patio. It was then carpeted, vinyled behind the bar, wallpapered behind the bar, painted and of course our lovely electrician Andy, as well as sorting all the electrics, put in the chandelier. It is full of special things right from childhood up to the present day and is often used by friends as a haven from life to talk through problems or just have a good chin wag. We love it.
