One of the key features is the bar pumps. They are typically common ones, however, these particular ones have some history; they used to be installed in the Petty Officers' Mess on HMS Ark Royal. After the Gulf War and when i left the ship, i managed to keep hold of them before the ship was scrapped. They were in my garage for a few years until i managed to finally build a pub to put them in!
It's approx 4m x 4m with a door in one corner. The structure sits on 9 pyramind plinths, each with bespoke seating brackets. Each can be height adjusted. I chose this design as air can flow underneath the structure which minimises cold and dampness (as opposed to the structure sitting on a flat concrete base).
Inside there is a dartboard, tv, wifi, fridge, memorabilia, plenty seating etc.
I wanted a welcoming, traditional pub feel rather than anything too contemporary.
