This unique Scottish themed pub has a fantastic atmosphere & transports you instantly into a cosy corner of Scotland. With Scottish ales on tap, a wide range of snacks, live Sky football matches, a state of the art sound system & heating for all year round use this pub is a little gem. The landlord is a die hard Heart of Midlothian fan and the pub reflects this with many great little touches here and there representing Hearts FC. The pub may only be a small be it successfully hosted New Years Eve 2015 & regularly holds a bar full of family and friends. The Tynecastle is a cracking pub and really is one of its kind.
The pub was built around an existing shed frame and was completed in late 2014. Since then minor modifications and a brand new roof have been added. Most of the material used to build the pub was used from off cuts of wood from a local wood work shop. The fixtures & fittings have all been sourced from real pubs, ebay or crafted by hand. It provides many great afternoons/evenings for family and friends and is a fantastic space to 'escape' to!
