My work shop is constructed from timber (mainly Walnut, Teak, Oak & Plywood panelling from the Judges chambers ) recycled during the demolition of Horse-ferry Road Magistrates court in Westminster London.
The work shop is built using passive construction techniques, so it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The doors to the work shop are the original doors to court room No 1.
The benches outside the work shop are the original benches from the courtroom
The outside of the work shop is clad in walnut from the court room waiting area and still has the original graffiti scratched into the surfaces
I construct Artisan furniture / Chairs from recycled timber ( from demolition sites) in my spare time.
The traditional work bench is constructed from Oak door frames.
The drawer unit was recycled from an old chest of drawers.
The workshop exterior deck is designed to be multi functions so the family can use the area especially during the summer months, it can be covered during wet weather.
