People thought I was mad buying an expensive run down shed but I could see it's potential to turn it into a beautiful space. People in the local community were very interested throughout the rebuild and I've received many positive comments about how I've given an old shed a new lease of life. I now have an awesome gift shop and gallery - I'm so happy coming to work in my shed every day :)
The shed was originally built in the 1960's and was covered in asbestos - I had this removed and took it down to the timber frame. My amazing family and best friends all worked really hard with me to rebuild the shed and transform the space. The build took about 3 months.
