The Baron's Arms is special because its a space I can have my friends and family over, in a warm friendly atmosphere. The bar has a large range of alcohol from all over the world, beer on tap,an extensive range of optics, Guinness surger, over 50 wines, bar snacks, dart board, tv, music and a self making ice machine. The bar also features a log burner, so its an area we can use all year round. The pub has seating for 22 guests and has hosted a party for over 100 people during a charity firework display on bonfire night.
The shed was here when we moved in, but not in its present state. It was originally a old storage shed where the previous owner stored unwanted household items. The first thing we did was make some alterations to open up the space, this included knocking out a wall, blocking up an old window, then adding 5 new windows. The alterations took around 4 weeks and during this time I constructed my own bar, added shelves for the optics, added the wine rack and transformed it into The Baron's Arms. The pub shed has been updated constantly over the last 4 years and now there are tables made from beer barrels, karaoke machine, shot machine and lots of other new features that can be seen in the video. I have also built a porch on the front of the pub and have decorated the outside walls with pub signs and an assortment of lights.
