    Shed Features

Old Pool Cottage is based on the old whitewash cottages of Churchtown & Marshside in Southport and it is named after the Old Pool which used to flow through the nearby Stray. It has seating for 10 and a wood burning stove for heating. Cask ale is served from both local & further afield breweries. There are pictures of Southport and the Isle of Man on the walls and for entertainment there is a smart tv facing the bar and a turntable playing a mix of vinyl. Regular Parties are held including a Christmas works doo for the lads and a birthday party for the landlord..

    Other Shed info

Originally a pebal dashed concrete panel garage, I have built around the former shell in concrete block using the panels as my internal skin and adding insulation. I have cut out new windows and a door and also bricked up the former garage door. The roof is insulated and covered externally with a lead grey coloured pvc membrane. Internally there is a stone floor and exposed beams for that authentic feel. The bar top features over 600 beer bottle tops. There is also an external area which features a BBQ made from reclaimed bricks. The chimney on top of the BBQ also serves the burner inside the Cottage.
