It was built from a "head plan" ie no plan, down by our stream as a place of retreat from work etc. year round
Simplest possible construction using either full lengths of timber or half lengths for minimum number of cuts (and possible foul ups)
Just half roofed to allow the other half to be covered with canvas which can be raised or lowered to suit
