To me my small but perfectly formed shed is my sanctuary. I love to sit in here at the end of a hard day's work and sit with a cup of tea and watch the birds visiting my garden - to me it is heaven.
I bought the shed with some money my mum and dad gave me a few years back and it is even more poignant now as my mum passed away on October 30 last year and my 95 year old dad is in hospital in Fuerteventura at this very moment after having emergency surgery for a perforated gall bladder just days after arriving there to stay with my sister for a couple of weeks.
