The Stumble Inn is our own home pub (and for friends in the village). This was a run down, forgotten building with asbestos sheet roofing, holes in the cladding and a dirt floor. Weve completed most of the work ourselves with help from friends and now it has become a focal point for many parties...Weve maintained almost everything that still stood up to keep the rural character and charm of the old forge that used to also home the ponies.
Weve also used The Stumble Inn for a number of charity events for The Royal British Legion and Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital ~ it makes a fab place to party.. weve maintained all of the original features of the barn - we even took out the old windows and carefully rebuilt them. The bar is made of old scaffold planks and off cuts from a local saw mill..So pop down and Stumble Inn and if you stay long enough, stagger out =. Weve got all the old photos of the old derelict barn and it really is unrecognisable..
