    Shed Features

The ironically-named Orangery replaced a vast, illegally-built, derelict shed constructed by a dodgy builder back in the 1980s.

I asked the council for permission to replace that monstrosity with a contemporary office / garage /man cave which respected the street's period red-brick architecture.

    Other Shed info

All viable concrete blocks from the original building were recycled to form the inner cavity block walls.

It faces south and it pulls in the light. Lot of glazing.

At circa 35 square metres, it's big enough to house our bikes (motor and pedal), camping gear, an office space, my self-built 'tardis' flat pack recording studio and still has plenty of room for mooching and pottering.
