Bespoke, designed and built by myself to fit snugly between existing trees and garden features. Insulated floor, roof and walls, with double glazed windows and doors allow year round use. Used for sleeping (even in sub-zero temperatures), parties, doing homework or just to chill out. Two of the walls can be opened by means of two sets of bifold doors, which helps to integrate the room and garden. The bifold doors were designed to close against an acute angled corner post to help with the garden fit.
Shed has a cut, double hipped timber framed roof, with slates. Roof gutters empty via chain downpipes, with any surplus overspill collected in a water butt. The roof soffit is about 500mm wide which shelters the room if being used with doors open in the rain. Down lights are fitted in this soffit to provide subtle lighting. Cuprinol used throughout!
