We wanted a shepherd's hut for our garden as a place to relax and also to work. Online the prices of these are upwards of £15,000 so I sent myself the challenge to design and build one for under £1000.
The challenge to build our hut became a mission in sustainability and up-cycling. With the exception of the roof virtually everything else is pre-owned. We even found a great source for windows that although unused were in fact over runs from a block of flats.
