This shed was built in the walled garden at Dunearn Farm with a view to reinvigorate the space which historically had been tended to by a handful of gardeners. The base structure is an old fire brigade portable office/cabin which would be taken to fires throughout Scotland in remote locations and act as a base for firefighters to work from. It has improved access and allowed us to enjoy the walled garden more. The terrace below is designed for the game Kubb and the shed acts as a sort of pavilion for watching on. Uses have included plenty of social gatherings, New Years 2020 and the inaugural Fifetoberfest being some and it has been slept in many a time by friends and family with the woodburner providing plenty heat.
The woodburner also acts as a cookstove for a warm broth on a cold winters day and the larch cladding used externally and internally is from the farm. https://www.facebook.com/frasermurdochvfx/videos/1765177400400508/
