I built it myself, with no previous construction experience, working it out as I went along, and trying to do it as cheaply as possible and within my limited skills. The materials were chosen to be reasonably sustainable (and affordable), timber for the frame and cladding and re-cycled duvets for insulation. It sits lightly on the ground on screw pile. The cabin has a sofa/bed so can be stayed in, although with a hike to the bathroom, and a woodburner. I use it to work in as all my big kids returned home for the various lockdowns. The dogs sleep underneath it in the summer.
