    Shed Features

Inspired by a Southwold beach hut this studio/summerhouse is made from reclaimed building materials salvaged from an old wooden conservatory, shingles left over from another project and assorted elements such as insulation and flooring. It has power and solar lighting is big enough to seat two comfortably but it's main usage is for the owner to use it for their craft related business activities.

    Other Shed info

I built the summerhouse on a sled frame which sits on concrete pads. in theory this would allow the house to be moved to a different location. As a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright I tried to make the dimensions utilise the wood components with the least amount of cutting possible, thereby speeding up the build and reducing wastage.
