    Shed Features

'Sew Delightful ' is any crafters paradise. A serene space where my creative tendencies can be encouraged. Every sewing essential is in arms reach and has it's very own special place to live, reducing the repetitive setting up and putting away on the kitchen table in between meal times. 'Sew Delightful' is fully insulated with a number of electric sockets installed to meet the needs of the sewing machine, Iron, heater and radio to keep me company. 'Sew Delightful's soft furnishings were made by hand, created a soon as the work bench was in place. With a passion for a new hobby of dressmaking 'Sew Delightful' provides enough space for my dress making mannequin, to try out all the lovely goodies I'm learning to make. Decorated outside with Cuprinol Lavender to preserve her for years to come and decorated inside with hand made units to store all my crafty accessories 'Sew Delightful' is truly the perfect purpose built shed for me.

    Other Shed info

'Sew Delightful' is an 8x6 Shed, placed on a concrete base supported by sleepers. The roof is covered in felt, beautifully applied by my two step children who jumped at the chance of climbing on the roof and using a hammer. The shed is insulated with Eco therm sheets and then finished of with boarding and beading. Electricity provides three double sockets and a light fitting. The building process has been a true family affair, with weekends taken up with DIY. It couldn't have been finished without the help of family and friends who knew how important the project was to me. I have now reduced my working hours to four days a week to spend a day to myself in my sewing shed, it's Sew Delightful!
