My shed is very interesting in that it's rather retro with it's 1950's bar and beautiful 1950's accessories, Babycham, martini, snowball glass and many more items, such as a collection of Wade Bells Whiskey decanters, sherry and port. It's a place of relaxation and has many interesting plaques with positive calming statements. It has a beautiful seating area with coffee table and also a very retro dining area too. For all those welcomed visitors they cannot leave until they have completed the visitors book stating their experience of their visit. Everyone loves to get an invite to "Dozza's shed" My granddaughter adores it and we sit in their and relax together me with a glass of wine and Layla with her retro sherry glass with a drop of juice in it and then she say's CHEERS.... Previous in the space where my Hut is situated stood a concrete garage, guess what I sold it on ebay for 259.00 and the chaps came and dismantled and took away. This area opened up my garden by 26 foot square. Amazing space and that is when I decided a beautiful summer house would be ideal. Next steps was to level the ground area, then a concrete block 14 ft by 12ft was put in place for the base of my "Hut" Then I ordered my summer house from a very reputal business in Rugby, he was absolutely delightful to deal with and we agreed the size and style of my Hut and he didn't even want a deposit! He was true to his word and came along 6 weeks after placement of order and erected my Hut and I paid him the £1700 that it costs and it was absolutely perfect, but he said the base was perfect so that makes all the difference. When it was erected I quickly transferred the ratten furniture I had already purchased and placed it in there, but oh was it bare! Then I decided the theme was to be retro, so I took the challenge to find the retro bar and so the one I have in place caught my eye on Gumtree and it was in Bournemouth, so off I went for a 250 mile round journey to collect my beautiful bar in mint condition. The journey began to scout the car boot sales for my glasses and other accessories. Plus I wante wanted "Dozza's Hut" to be a memorable place and an interesting read, so I started my collection of position/funny plagues plus many friends have added to this. Also, visitors are not allow to the leave the "Dozza's Hut" until they have written their experience in my visitors book, I take a look at this often and it's an interesting read. Also it's dressed up differently at Christmas and I have Santa's Grotto and raise money for Myton Hospice Father Christmas is sat in his rocking chair and the children queue up outside and await their visit. Also, I have afternoon teas in the summer and again raise money for Myton Hospice.
