The shed can seat 9 people in a circle and has a clay chimaera with chimney. Stained glass windows and cob with pallet reinforced walls.
This is a chapel where small groups can meet to pray, reflect, discuss or just simply relax. A cross is suspended in the ceiling made from a fallen tree, the walls are made from reinforced pallet/cob with painted stained glass windows (all thrown away glass or pvc). All materials were either thrown away or given to complete the project apart from an automatic water pump and the rubber roof liner. The automatic sump pump works underneath the sunken floor so that in very wet periods it still remains dry, this feeds a water butt which then feeds a water garden as an overflow. The roof is made with thrown away branches, cable tied together to make a reinforced net and a rubber liner is laid on top.
Plants, flowers and herbs abound on the roof giving it that natural quirky look. A trench outside drains most of the water with growing potato plants.
