    Shed Features

I have named my shed Povera, which translates to Poor in Italian.

'Poor mans art' is best used to described my work as each part of the shed and the works contained in it are created using repurposed and recycled materials found in skips and construction sites.

I utilised every inch of the space to showcase my art, with my shed being a living breathing reflection of life long my dedication to Environmental Art itself.

    Other Shed info

My shed work involves the use of many materials ranging from broken glass, wood and sash cord, basically anything that I can recycle.

I have been working in construction for over thirty years where I collect materials left over from various trades. One of my favourite sources for obtaining materials are the skips on site. I can be spotted most days on the underground stations with salvage materials for my next project.
My shed is a well known feature within the South London Community, and also doubles up as an exhibition space, a is a free and open exhibition housing over 30 years of my artwork.
I would like my legacy to inspire young people to create art from recycled materials in what is, and important narrative to push in such contentious times.
