Our shed is special to us as it was our first dalliance as a couple into DIY! We managed it without any massive fall outs! Lock-down challenged us all and we wanted somewhere to get away, chill and have some fun. Not only that we'd had a old John Lewis breakfast bar lurking in the garage since a house move which was inspiration for our pallet bar. Since we completed the build we've had many a theme night in our shed bar, food festivals, cheese tasting, Eurovision themed party, pub quiz, bottomless brunch, Oktoberfest, Birthday celebrations and a NYE disco in the extended gazebo beer garden. Not all activities are alcohol fueled, we have used the space to plan adventures, travels, chat over coffee and just generally chill out. Named after our beloved whippet pup Luna, the Blue Whippet was the highlight of a difficult year and we look forward to being able to welcome friends and family in years to come.
The shed is a 6' x 6' internet bought basic shed, which we insulated, chalk aged painted and hung hessian and reed matting for a beach bar feel. Shed has a beer tap, optics, music, disco lights, heat and an all important last orders bell! Other bits from our travels have been added to create our unique personalised happy space.
