The Pallet Palace is made from 134 pallets and 8 scaffold boards which I collected locally from Facebook Marketplace, entirely for free. It's got three main jobs, bicycle stuff, tools and gardening.
Fully electrified and internet connected, it's perfect for a session on the turbo trainer, doing some woodwork and planting out seedlings.
It's also got some lovely window boxes made from some of the off-cut bits of pallet which are now blooming with their spring colours.
It is kitted out inside with Hue lightbulbs and Sonos, each controlled via Alexa. Security comes via a Blink camera over the door and it's survived gale force winds, snow and ice without moving a milimetre so far.
The shed took me two weeks to build in October and November 2020, a couple of weeks before my daughter, Olive, was born which is the main reason I needed somewhere new to store all my stuff!
