The shed has been fully insulated, lined, and feels really cozy. The plan is to use it as a home office with a seating corner that could be used as a guest room. The shed enjoys views of surrey wildlife trust fields with cows in. We also get a lot of wildlife deers etc.
When we moved into the house it had this cattery which the previous owners needed for their business. Inside were 3 large cages, workshops, and space for garden tools. The cattery had 5 rooms inside. The roof was leaking, it had no drainage for rainwater to go to once on the ground. Being 6 X 3 meters that's a lot of surface water that caused the cattery to subside. it had no insulation, an ant nest, and foxes living under the floor.
During the summer lockdown the neighbours and we met over the fence for drinks and we called the area where our gardens meet the 'Fox & Fence'.
