It is mostly a storage shed where we keep garden tools, bicycles, logs for the fireplace and it is also a winter shelter for some of my plants.
The shed was here when we bought the house but it was just an ordinary brown, sad looking shed. I have painted it in uplifting, Mediterranean colours and I have applied some self adhesive stained glass vinyls so it's impossible to see what's inside, it can be messy sometimes, not gonna lie.
Last year during the first lockdown I was on furlough with plenty of time on my hands and I have decided to make a clock tower to sit on the top of the roof. The tower is made from two old bedside cabinets.
Since then I have heard couple of compliments from my neighbours and visitors regarding the clock tower. Just a few days ago I have decided to also paint the felt roof with raspberry pink colour. It is a very happy shed, my own Hotel de Ville.
