I am historical romantic novelist Louise Allen and this is my library and workspace. It is located in a North Norfolk village and houses over a thousand research books on the Regency period, my desk, PC and a collection of inspirational objects ranging from Regency silk shoes to a Greek god's lips.
Built by a local carpenter out of wood, heated and heavily insulated - next stop north for us is Siberia. It has power, a radiator, internet but it lacks a flag hoist for signals such as "Send tea" - this is the next project.
