By day this is an ordinary 8 x 6 foot shiplap shed used for storage of fairly mundane items, but can be transformed in seconds to what you see in the pictures, whilst retaining the illusion of a common-or-garden shed when closed.
The idea to build this shed came about during the unseasonally warm weather we had about the time of the Royal wedding last spring, where during a spot of sun worshipping I thought back to a holiday I took in the West indies.
I wanted to recreate the feeling of being on holiday, particularly during the cold and dark winter months, where I long for some sunshine. This shed does that and more, it has been a real labour of love, thanks for taking a look.
This was an off the shelf purchase from a well known internet based supplier, that got constructed firstly, then had the doors and shelving added. Once this was painted (which took forever) various signs, posters and memorablila were added. Next on the wish list is a permanent power source to run the fridge and lighting.
