My hubby and I purchased some land on a small lake in the Olympic Mountians. It was raw and undeveloped, no power or water. As we spend a great deal of time there we need a place to store our things, especially a generator. Hence, the "Shed".
The shed is in the New Egland style and is constructed of Fir and Cedar. There is an abundance of Western Cedar on the property, so we chose Western Cedar for the walls and doors. Hubby with a small assistance from myself, built the shed in sections in our home garage and then we transported it, via trailer, to the property and raised it in two days. Dimensions are 10ft by 20ft. We imported premade windows from Connecticut. The door hinges and handle are wrought iron. I lightened this photo to show the beauty of the wood. We have since added wrought iron entry lights on either side of the door.
